We are Ozellar Marine

A values-led partner, bringing expertise and purpose to every solution.

Our Story

The sea carries cargo, but it also carries stories. We started Ozellar with a simple idea: make life at sea safer, smarter, and more enjoyable for the people who make it all happen.

Our name blends Awesome and StellarOzellar – because that's the standard we hold for every voyage: bold in spirit, precise in execution, and kind in how we treat people.

Our Vision:
To redefine marine operations through people, systems, and purpose – so crews thrive and ships perform at their best.

Our Purpose

We believe ships are more than steel and engines – they're floating communities. We exist to support seafarers and shipping companies with training, structure, and culture that make excellence repeatable.

Formula we live by: stellar teams + stellar systems = stellar performance.

What We Do

  • Run operations smoothly:
From planning to compliance, fewer "uh‑oh" moments and more "all good."
  • Grow people:
Hands‑on training, leadership coaching, and clear playbooks.
  • Make ship life better:
Fitness, fun, and wellbeing through our Life Onboard Fun Program.

How We Work

  • Clarity over complexity:
Simple checklists, clean comms, tight routines.
  • Coach, don't just command:
We build confidence as well as competence.
  • Kaizen at sea:
Small improvements, every watch, every day.
  • Respect the ocean, respect each other:
    Safety and dignity are non‑negotiable.

Our Values

  • Safety First, Always:
The ocean demands respect; we design for it.
  • Crew Wellbeing:
Healthy, happy crew = healthy, happy ship.
  • Continuous Improvement:
We don't drift; we set the course.
  • Fun at Work:
Serious work, light hearts. Joy fuels great teams.

Living Our Core Values: The Ozellar Ethic

O

We take deep responsibility – for ships, people, outcomes, and promises. Every detail matters because this is our ship too.

Z

Zero Harm
We operate with an uncompromising focus on safety – for people, the environment, and assets.

E

Empathy
We value people before process. Every voice matters – onboard, ashore, or across the table. Compassion fuels collaboration.

L

Learning
We grow through curiosity, reflection, and continuous improvement. We learn from the sea, from data, from each other – and from our mistakes and successes.

L

Leadership
Leadership here is not about control; it’s about creating conditions for others to thrive. We remove barriers, not impose them.

A

Accountability
We do what we say and own what we do. We accept our part, no excuses. We correct, improve, and move forward.

R

Respectful Co-Creation
We believe the best solutions are built together. Our relationships with clients are partnerships – not hierarchies. Respect and shared purpose guide all collaboration.
